GB Premium Basemap
A seamless basemap designed for consistent cartographic representation from small to large scales. The data sources are the Ordnance Survey (OS) MasterMap® Topography Layer, OS VectorMap® Local, and OS Open Zoomstack. It is the recommended basemap for Maps+ customers.
GB Premium Basemap Classic
Designed for use as background mapping and providing a seamless view with consistent cartography from small to large scales. The data sources are the OS MasterMap Topography Layer, OS VectorMap Local, and OS Open Zoomstack. This basemap is only recommended where there is a technical requirement to use a raster cache.
OS Premium Rasters Basemap
This service contains the OS VectorMap Local Colour Raster, 1:25,000 Scale Colour Raster and 1:50,000 Scale Colour Raster. At scales smaller than 1:60,000, OS Open Zoomstack is displayed to provide a national context to the dataset.
OS MasterMap Basemap

OS VectorMap Local Basemap
Designed for use as background mapping and providing a seamless view with consistent cartography from small to large scales. The data sources are OS Vector Map Local and OS Open Zoomstack. This basemap is only recommended where there is a technical requirement to use a raster cache, or where OS VectorMap Local is the sole licence.
OS 1:25,000 Raster Basemap
The 1:25,000 Scale Colour Raster is the digital form of the OS Explorer Map, offering detailed representation of the countryside. Ideal for rural environmental analysis or as a backdrop map to provide geographical context to your own data. This basemap also incorporates OS Open Zoomstack data at smaller scales.
OS 1:50,000 Raster Basemap
The 1:50,000 Scale Colour Raster is the OS’s definitive raster product, providing a complete digital view of the popular Landranger® paper map series. It offers clear detail on roads, footpaths, woods, water features, important buildings and height contours. It provides a comprehensive basemap; ideal for detailed work where street names are not required, such as in demographic analysis. This basemap also incorporates OS Open Zoomstack data at smaller scales.
OS VML Colour Raster Basemap
The purpose of OS VectorMap Local Raster data is to support a wide range of customer applications that utilise geographic information. It has been designed for onscreen use, with generalised detail and an appropriate level of content that gives a non-cluttered appearance. This basemap also incorporates OS Open Zoomstack data at smaller scales.
GB Pavement Width Indicator
Built in response to social distancing measures, Pavement Widths provides a feature service of all pavements in Great Britain. This dataset provides an estimate of the minimum width for features in the OS MasterMap Topography Layer classified as manmade paths and roadside. It can be used for urban and transport planning, as well as identifying where utilities companies can carry out street works without pedestrian disruption.
OS MasterMap Buildings
The OS MasterMap Buildings layer provides detailed and accurate large-scale representation of areas described as ‘Buildings’ across Great Britain. The layer contains building features that represent objects in the physical environment. There are over 45 million features in this current product. This data is sourced from the OS MasterMap topography Layer.
OS MasterMap Water Network
This service will be retired no later than 31st March 2026. New subscriptions to this service will not be granted, effective immediately. Please speak with your account manager if you have any questions, or email dataenquiries@esriuk.com.
The OS MasterMap Water Network layer provides a detailed, heighted water network, showing the flow and precise course of every river, stream, lake and canal in Great Britain. The layer contains network lines (links) which are attributed to provide a range of information about the section of watercourse that they depict. The data is sourced from the OS MasterMap Networks – Water Layer.
TitleInfo
TitleInfo is a premium service which provides access to information on title plans published by the Land registry. Each title plan includes it’s geometry with Title No, status and creation date. Full ownership details are provided for Corporate & Commercial titles. Related tables list the UPRNs associated with each plan. The full dataset has been joined with Flood Risk information to provide a risk of flooding for every land parcel.
3D Basemap and Data
A vector tile service that can be used alongside the ArcGIS elevation model in scenes. Each of the individual 3D services such as buildings and trees can be accessed through the service.

As part of our Maps+ product we are continually looking for ways to improve what we offer to our users. Existing subscribers to Maps+ can sign up for our Beta program. We use this program to try out new services and offerings which we hope you will find useful.
