Overview

As part of our Maps+ product we are continually looking for ways to improve what we offer to our users. Existing subscribers to Maps+ can sign up for our Beta program. We use this program to try out new services and offerings which we hope you will find useful. The beta program provides us with an opportunity to try ideas out, whether they have come from us or you. Unlike other services, beta services will not be permanent and hence should not be replied upon for use in a live application. However, where a service proves popular it will inform the product roadmap going forwards.

Current Beta Services

Below is a list and brief description of the current beta services available through Maps+ as of August 2023.

OS NGD Geographical Names: Data is sourced from the OS National Geographic Database (NGD) Geographical Names Theme and is made up of the Named Features Collection that provides a comprehensive list of names of features and places of geographic significance.

OS NGD Land Use: Data is sourced from the OS National Geographic Database (NGD) Land Use Theme and contains the Land Use Feature Collection which is comprised of geographical representations of areas identified as having a specific purpose.

How To Access the Beta Services

The beta services are accessible to existing Maps+ subscribers. They can be accessed through the Esri Marketplace and shared with your organisation.
